CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION
Otay’s Construction Quality
Control/Assurance Division’s primary role is
to assure all new District facilities are
installed in accordance with the Water
Agencies’ Standards, the approved plans, and
the Code of Ordinances.
These facilities include water and
wastewater pipelines, pumping stations,
reservoirs, and other facilities installed
within District boundaries.
Other duties include inspecting existing
facilities and report needed repairs and
safety violations; material testing; and
performing design constructability reviews,
specification reviews, and plan reviews.
The Inspection staff of 5 employees
including the Inspection Supervisor has over
75 years combined service with the District.
