Turf Removal Rebate No Longer Available!
The Metropolitan Water District of Southern California has announced that turf removal rebates are no longer available. After a 4th consecutive year of drought conditions have depleted water supplies and Governor Jerry Brown issued an Executive Order implementing statewide mandatory water restrictions, southern Californians have positively responded to the call to conserve water by removing 170 million square feet of grass. A wait list is available, however, there is no guarantee of funding.
Rebates are still available for water saving devices that include: washing machines; toilets; weather based irrigation controllers; soil moisture sensors; and rotating nozzles. To review available rebates and to apply to be placed on the turf removal wait list, visit: SoCalWaterSmart.com
