Help Feed Hunger by Donating Online to Otay’s Food Drive

Giving is made simple this year. This holiday season, the Otay Water District is partnering with the San Diego Food Bank to provide food assistance through a virtual food drive.

The District encourages its more than 240,000 customers, employees, and anyone in a position to give to join the fight against hunger by donating safely online at their convenience.

Through the Virtual Food Drive, donors can select and purchase food items, such as canned meats, vegetables, fruits, peanut butter, oatmeal, and cereal. Monetary donations are also accepted. For every $1 donation, the San Diego Food Bank can provide two meals to families in need.

To donate, click on the image below, which will redirect you to the Virtual Food Drive where you can select and pay for the food items or monetary option using your debit/credit card. The San Diego Food Bank will receive and distribute the donations.

For check submissions, please send them to the San Diego Food Bank Miramar location at 9850 Distribution Ave, San Diego, CA 92121. Please address and write “Otay Water District Virtual Food Drive” in the check’s memo.
